“数智化”浪潮正深刻重塑着全球各个行业的发展。人工智能、物联网、虚拟现实等数字技术的飞速发展，尤其是大语言模型的应用，语言服务、翻译教育、国际传播面临着巨大的机遇和挑战。为推动中国文化外译与国际传播在新技术形式下的高质量发展，赋能数智时代中国中西部翻译人才培养，湖北省译协和中国地质大学（武汉）联合举办“第十九届中西部地区翻译理论与教学研讨会暨翻译研究国际论坛”。
Digitization is profoundly reshaping the development of various industries worldwide. With the rapid development of digital technologies in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, and especially the application of large language models, language services, translation education, and international communication are faced with new opportunities and challenges. Aiming at promoting high-quality development of Chinese cultural discourse translation and international communication against the new technological landscape, and empowering the cultivation of translation talents in the Midwest China in the era of digital intelligence, The 19th Midwest China Symposium on Translation Theory and Pedagogy and International Forum on Translation Studies will be held in Wuhan by the Translators Association of Hubei and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) .
本次研讨会将围绕数智时代的翻译理论、实践、技术、教学方法以及国际传播等议题展开深入讨论，汇聚翻译领域的专家学者、教育工作者以及业界精英，探讨数智时代翻译与传播的创新路径，为中西部地区乃至全国的翻译研究与人才培养提供新思路、新方法，为提升中国在国际舞台上的话语权和影响力贡献智慧和力量。
This forum embraces in-depth discussions on a myriad of research topics, including translation theories, translation practice, translation technologies, teaching methods, international communication in the era of digital intelligence. Experts, scholars, education practitioners, and industry elites in the field of translation are expected and encouraged to be engaged in this event to explore innovative paths for advancing research and development in translation and communication. The Forum aims to generate new ideas and methods for translation studies and talent development, endeavoring to contribute wisdom and strength to the enhancement of China’s discourse power and the influence in the international arena.
